Maggie Castillo

Maggie Castillo

Maggie Castillo has worked in the settlement department at Trolman, Glaser & Lichtman, P.C., for the past 20 years. She is responsible for the receipt, distribution and accounting of all settlements and structured settlements. She is responsible for processing all settlement documents, obtaining timely settlement checks, disbursing all settlement proceeds to clients, lien holders; and when required, executing judgments. She was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, where she currently resides with her husband and children.

Loizaida DeJesus 

Loizaida DeJesus Loizaida De Jesus has been a paralegal at Trolman, Glaser & Lichtman, P.C., for four years. She works for senior partner Jack Glaser. She is responsible for personal injury cases, such as motor vehicle accidents, and slip and fall accidents.

Ms. De Jesus was born and raised in Bronx, New York. Her parents are from the Dominican Republic. She is dedicated to achieve the best results for our personal injury clients. She speaks Spanish fluently.

Astra Gneco

Astra Gneco

Astra Gneco earned a degree in office administration from The Wood Tobe-Coburn School in Manhattan. She began working for Trolman, Glaser & Lichtman, P.C., over 10 years ago as the paralegal to senior partner David Trolman working predominately with labor law cases. She now works as a paralegal in the medical malpractice department assisting associates Joel Glaser and Ingrid Heide, guiding her clients throughout the entire trial practice. She is very compassionate and understanding toward her clients and enjoys making a difference in their lives.

Astra was born and raised in the Bronx to Dominican parents and speaks Spanish fluently. She now lives in New Jersey with her family.

Diana LanFranco

Diana LanFranco

Ms. La Franco is the friendly voice of "Margarita" at Trolman, Glaser & Lichtman. She is the first person potential clients speak with when they call the firm about a case. "Margarita" speaks Spanish fluently and lives in Manhattan.

Yolanda Irizarry

Yolanda Irizarry

Yolanda Irizarry, a litigation paralegal for the firm, is involved in many of the firm's complex litigation cases. Ms. Irizarry has been a paralegal at Trolman, Glaser & Lichtman for more than 20 years. She was born in New York and is of Puerto Rican descent. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from John Jay College of Criminal Justice. She works in the general negligence department with partner and trial attorney David B. Corley and associate Tina M. Wells. Ms. Irizarry is experienced and knowledgeable in all areas of motor vehicle, labor law and premise accidents. She is compassionate, and enjoys helping her clients get through the difficult times after suffering an injury. She speaks Spanish fluently.

Noemy Mercedes

Noemy Mercedes

Noemy Mercedes holds a Bachelor of Science degree Magna Cum Laude, in justice studies from John Jay College of Criminal Justice. She began working for Trolman, Glaser & Lichtman, P.C., six years ago as File Clerk and Interpreter. Ms. Mercedes currently works for senior trial attorney and partner, Jeffrey A. Lichtman. She has considerable knowledge and experience in surrogate court matters, relating to wrongful death cases.

Ms. Mercedes was born and raised in Manhattan, to Dominican parents and speaks Spanish fluently.

Alexandra Schepis

Alexandra Schepis

Ms. Schepis has been associated with Trolman, Glaser & Lichtman for 23 years. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from Pace University, and works for partner Jeffrey A. Lichtman, assisting him with all his legal work and day to day operations of the office. In addition, Alex works to manage Mr. Lichtman's schedule as it relates to his work outside the office in furtherance of civil justice and access to the courts.

Ms. Schepis is responsible for overseeing the special funds created for children who have obtained settlements and judgments in catastrophic injury cases. Alex is committed to protecting the significant settlement funds for use in the future for all of these children In addition, her considerable knowledge and experience in Surrogate Court matters helps the office prosecute actions concerning wrongful death.

Born and raised in Queens, New York, Ms. Schepis now lives in Bergen County, New Jersey. Her mother is from Cali, Colombia and her father is Cuban. She speaks Spanish fluently. She is a tender voice, always ready to help.

Aixa Hernandez Smith

Aixa Smith

Aixa Hernadez Smith, the Chief Administrator of the firm, has been with Trolman, Glaser & Lichtman for 30 years. After she earned her Bachelor of Arts in communications from CUNY-Hunter College in 1990, she became the Chief Administrator at the firm. She manages the day-to-day business and is responsible for direction and management of the support staff. Ms. Smith is a native of Cuba and is fluent in Spanish. She lives in New Jersey with her family.

She is very active in the Hispanic community and is a willing participant in annual Latin American events throughout the tri-state area. Ms. Smith is very knowledgeable about the law and the rights of her clients.  During her years of service as a Paralegal and HR Administrator at Trolman, Glaser & Lichtman, Ms. Smith has served as a liaison between clients and attorneys and has developed a reputation for being compassionated and understanding within the community.  In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends in NJ.  She is an active board member of various school committees and an active participant in fundraising events.  She also finds time to volunteer at her local parish and neighboring hospitals to interpret for Spanish speaking persons.  Ms. Smith is very proud to have contributed to the success of Trolman, Glaser & Lichtman, P.C., and is looking forward to many more successful years and helping the Hispanic community. 

Francis Taveras

Ms. Taveras has been with Trolman, Glaser & Lichtman, P.C., for nine years. Ms. Taveras is a Litigation paralegal for partner and trial attorney, Michael A. Madonna. She is an empathetic and caring paralegal when it comes to helping clients with daily needs outside of the case issues. Ms. Taveras attended New York City College of Technology, and studied computer information systems. She was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, where she now lives with her husband and daughter. Her mother and father are from the Dominican Republic. She speaks Spanish fluently.

Betty Vidaurre

Betty Vidaurre

Ms. Vidaurre obtained her certification as Executive Bilingual Secretary (Spanish-English), in Bolivia, South America. She attended New York University where she studied English as a Second Language and took courses at Hunter College in translation studies. Prior to coming to Trolman, Glaser & Lichtman, P.C., she worked as a proofreader/typesetter at two major newspapers in New York City. Ms. Vidaurre has worked at our firm for 14 years. She is presently paralegal to Dennis Bellovin, a partner in the firm. Ms. Vidaurre assists the attorney in prosecuting cases that pertain to lead paint poisoning, personal injury matters, automobile and construction accidents.
